Many residential architectural firms are having trouble figuring out how best to market themselves in an environment dominated by COVID-19. This course is designed to help firms identify the best marketing strategies in light of all the changes the pandemic has wrought. Uncertainty barely begins to describe what many residential firms are facing today. Coming out on the other end of this pandemic will look different for everyone but, to survive, firms will certainly need to focus on improving their business functions almost as much as delivering design services. Regardless of how your firm has fared thus far, a strong approach to marketing and communications is crucial to successfully moving forward. This presentation will focus on the most impactful types of marketing for firms, given limited time and budget heading into 2021. It will address ways to improve website and social media performance, enhance content, utilize important marketing metrics, and address clients’ pandemic concerns. Learning Objectives: Attendees will learn basic ways to improve their website performance as a marketing tool. Attendees will learn how to evaluate the current social media landscape and decide the best tools for their firm. Attendees will identify ways to make existing content be more impactful for their firm, thus increasing ROI and providing suggested ways to address pandemic concerns of potential clients.
