If you like my videos then please do subscribe to my youtube channel dears.. Thank you all.. St Angelo Fort: Built by the first Portuguese Viceroy in India, Don Francesco de Almeida in 1505. In 1663, the Dutch captured the fort from the Portuguese. They made some modifications and later sold it to the Ali Raja of the Arakkal dynasty. The British East India company took control of the fort in 1790 and used it as their main miltary base in the Malabar region. The fort is now protected under the Archaeological survey of India and offers panoramic views of the Mappila Bay Dharmadam island and the harbor. Cliff Walkway: The Payyambalam Cliff Walkway is a scenic path along the cliffs near Payyambalam Beach in Kannur, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. It's an elavated, well maintained walkway with seating areas, ideal for evening strolls, watching sunsets and enjoying the sea breeze.
