In this video I listen to the latest album release from star jazz saxophonist Jerome Sabbagh 'Heart' featuring bassist Joe Martin & all-time legend Al Foster on drums. The album was recorded and mixed live straight to 1/2" 30ips 2-track tape by engineer James Farber and cut direct from the original master tape by Bernie Grundman. You may have already heard of Jerome Sabbagh and his 2023 Analog Tone Factory album 'Vintage' as that album received huge accolades from the music press and the specialist hifi press: Stereophile named 'Vintage' the February 2024 'Recording of the Month' The Absolute Sound said: "Vintage is one of the best albums of 2023" and Michael Fremer, in The Tracking Angle awarded 'Vintage' an amazing 10/10 for the music, and 11/10 for the sound (11/10?
