Throughout my career in real estate, I have worked with a lot of home buyers, and whether they were buying for the first time or the fifth, a couple of mistakes were made here and there. But don't worry! We all over look things from time to time, and in this video, I'm going to tell you what to avoid so you don't make those same mistakes! One of the mistakes I discuss is "Not budgeting for closing costs". Closing costs are the legal and administrative costs you will need to pay when your house closes, and can range from 1% to 4% of the purchase price. Along with closing costs, there are other expenses that will require expenditure before, on or after your house closes.
