Kantha stitching and check patterned pin weaving! Monday Making 19.01.2025

Hey Folks! I hope you all have a lovely restful weekend. I’m starting the week by continuing two of my current crafty projects. I’m adding some decorative Kantha stitches to my book bag projects, using simple running and chain stitches to add a decorative element to the shibori dyed patches used. I’m also having a go at a more heavily patterned pin woven/continuous strand woven square. I’m really enjoying this relatively pared down mode of weaving, and looking forward to constructing my scarf soon!
