REAL GRAVE OF MIR SADIQ in Ghulam Ali's Tomb | टिपु सुल्तान के गद्दार

Mir Sadiq held the post of a minister in the cabinet of Tipu Sultan of Mysore. In the Fourth Anglo-Mysore War in 1798–99, he allegedly betrayed Tipu Sultan during the Siege of Srirangapatana, paving the way for a British victory. he was killed by some of the dismayed Mysorean troops immediately following the defeat as he attempted to go over to welcome the British. According to Muhammad Iqbal, “Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq were a disgrace to faith, a disgrace to humanity, and a disgrace to the motherland, who were instrumental in the defeat and death of Nawab Siraj-Ud-Daulah of Bengal and Tipu Sultan of Mysore respectively by betraying them for the benefit of the British” and Mir Ghulam Ali Khan was an official and Vakil of Tipu Sultan who was made custodian of Tipu's sons to be handed over to Britishers as ransome for 3 years till the financial terms were fulfilled. Mir Ghulam Ali khan was the Home Minister of Tippu Sultan. He is said to have led a delegation to Constantinople to the Ottoman Empire, and was also visited France.. After the fall of Tippu Sultan in 1799, Ghulam Ali was arguably pensioned off by the British. Ghulam Ali Khan was a seasoned diplomat who was the leader of the Mysorean embassy to Turkey and from there on to France and England in 1785 – 1786.
