Its name stands for "All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment". The pack is made from heavy-duty nylon and features a metal frame for added support. It has a large main compartment with a drawstring closure and a flap that buckles down over the top. Additionally, there are several exterior pockets for organizing smaller items. The pack is designed to carry a load of up to 70 pounds comfortably, making it ideal for extended missions.
