I share this protocol with my patients after they hit the 3 month post-op mark and it has helped them. Once you are at least 3 months from your surgery try each day to spend 10 minutes doing the kneeling on different surfaces starting with soft and ending with hard. Week 1 - Kneel 10 minutes per day on the sofa Week 2 - Kneel 10 min/day on a sofa cushion on the floor Week 3 - Kneel 10 min/day on a thin pillow Week 4 - Kneel 10 min/day on a rug Week 5 - Kneel 10 min/day on a hard floor It is not to be started right away since you need time for your incision to heal.
