For 2 1/2 years my wife, Teresa, laid dying, suffering from a promise that a simple "non invasive" product/procedure would cure her of a little bladder leak she developed. The polypropylene plastic TVT synthetic mesh was implanted in her and changed our lives beyond belief. With in a matter of 3 short weeks her body began suffering from severe erosion, untreatable deep tissue infections, untreatable UTI's (bladder infections), untreatable vaginal infections and added to that misery an intense suffering from the immune killing (http://www.tvt-messed-up-mesh.org.uk/...) poisons in the TVT synthetic mesh. The fear she had to sleep was intense not knowing if she would awake in the morning. Her fear of the mesh eroding through her urethera or bladder and bleeding internally was very real and very legit as it happens to women daily that have mesh in them. Though mesh removal has eased some of her agonizing pelvic, back and leg pain, she is constantly haunted with persistent UTI's and vaginal infections WEEKLY. She still suffers from the toxins in the plastic mesh daily as these toxins poison women and literally wipe out their immune systems causing auto immune diseases and reactions that people could only imagine in their worst nightmares. Boils, rashes, rotting bones, rotting teeth, fibromyalgia, loss of hair, loss of site, loss of sensation, strong body odors, extreme hot flashes, constant illness's and that is only the start of a long list of life altering conditions and reactions to these toxins. For Teresa, the toxins intensified her previous rheumatoid arthrtis to such an extreme that she could not even life the blankets off of her in the mornings, she could not walk, type on a keyboard or even pull her own pants down to urinate..for 2 1/2 I researched mesh and what it is doing to women and it sickens me that women have to suffer like this! After Teresa's final mesh removal she began getting stronger and she and I felt God calling us to help women with mesh torture, TVT-NO! Mesh survivors foundation began.
