Two weeks after a major snowstorm, the bike lanes along the Danforth were finally plowed. So I went out to ride them. This is a slow test ride from Woodbine to Broadview on a cold, sunny Sunday afternoon. The lanes are technically plowed, but still packed with snow in many sections, with only thin strips of pavement showing through in places. Some parts are surprisingly rideable. Others feel more like winter mountain biking. I try to stay in the bike lane as much as possible, even when the road is clearly easier to ride. The goal here isn’t speed or efficiency - just seeing what “plowed” actually means on the ground. Shot in real time, mostly unedited. No commentary, just the ride, the cold, and whatever the city decided was good enough that day. Filmed in Toronto, Canada. Apparently, these are bike lanes.
