Amritpal Singh Case: The Uttarakhand Police on Tuesday conducted a combing operation at gurdwaras, hotels and in areas on the Indo-Nepal border in Udham Singh Nagar district to nab Khalistani leader and fugitive Amritpal Singh and his associates as he is still on the run even after four days of manhunt. In the hope that people could help identify and spot Amritpal Singh, the police have released a set of possible avatars - seven different pictures - where he can be seen donning clean shaved or bearded looks and different turbans and guises. The massive crackdown by the Punjab Police against Waris Punjab De chief has entered the fifth day but Amritpal Singh is still on the run. His uncle and two other aides were flown to Assam on Tuesday. On Sunday, his other four arrested associates were also taken to Dibrugarh Central jail. On Sunday, four arrested members of the outfit were brought to Assam's Dibrugarh central jail. A team of Punjab Police has now reached the jail with pro-Khalistani leader Harjeet Singh to quiz Singh's aides.
