Day 5 on our Carnival Jubilee cruise brought us to Costa Maya, Mexico, for the very first time! We'd heard the rumors: people either adore this port or they just... don't. So, what would seasoned cruisers like us think? With open minds and absolutely zero plans, we dove headfirst into what turned out to be a surprisingly wild day. From mesmerizing cultural performances (involving some seriously brave, high-flying pole dancers), and an aviary packed with feisty birds, to chilling in the famous free pools, and even discovering a secret, off-the-map section of the port.
