My BMW K75 S front brake master cylinder was leaking where it joined the brake fluid reservoir. According to the parts microfiche, there's a rubber o-ring in between, so I pulled the master cylinder off and replaced the old o-ring, but the first time I used a nitrile o-ring ... which isn't compatible with brake fluid. Only Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber o-ring should be used for brake systems. So after it leaked again, I purchased the o-ring from the local BMW dealer and replaced the nitrile o-ring.
