I'll create an extremely in-depth review of all aspects of this panel, ranging from power output to wavelengths to EMF levels, analysis of the LEDs, and much more. So here's the features of this new panel: ✅ PlatinumLED Therapy Lights have been around for quite some time, spending 10 years in the LED business. First the company focused on grow lights, now on grow lights and red light threapy. ✅ The original BioMAX 600 panel came out on top of my 2019 review series! ✅ Besides the 600 you can also buy the BioMAX 450 (tabletop) and the 900 (which is bigger than the 600, obviously) ✅ The $899 price drops down to $854 with discount code ALEX. That price is quite nice for a body panel. Financing is available. ✅ US shipping is free. $80 for most worldwide shipping for Canada, UK, and Australia. Other places might be cheaper or pricier. The PlatinumLED website also shows current shipping times. ✅ The box is branded very nicely. ✅ The panel contains 200 3W LEDs. The LEDs are "single-chip" The panel is 36 inches tall, 9 inches wide, and 3 inches deep. The panel has roughly the size of the Joovv Solo. 4 fans on back. There are grips on the top to transfer the 22-pound panel. Modular support included. ✅ All the regular additions are present: door hanging kit, eye goggles, instruction manual, door hanging hook, cables, pulley system, heavy-duty cable (with more EMF protection), etcetera. The manual is really in-depth and looks beautiful. The cable is 2 meters long, which translates to 6.5 feet. ✅ The control panel is completely overhauled and there's now a touch-screen! ✅ Huge stand support for multiple panels, both horizontally and vertically. Vertical stand costs $300 and you can use discount code ALEX. The horizontal panel can mount 1-2 panels overhead and costs $300 as well. ✅ There's a 3-year warranty. There's a 60-day trial period but you do pay a 20% restocking fee off the original price. ✅ Power output SHOULD have improved over the original model. The beam angle is 90-degrees. ✅ In terms of wavelengths, they peak at 663nm and 632. Those numbers are really impressive. The NIR is tested at 810 and 850. 830 isn't visible due to the overlap of wavelengths. You'll get some irradiance all the way from 700 to 900 though, often, in minor quantities. ✅ Original BioMAX had 66 mW/cm2. New BioMAX has 92.8 mW/cm2. 51.9 highest red reading. 62.3 is the max reading for NIR. There's a lot of spread in power though! ✅ Overall power comes in 101.2 Watts for the entire panel. The unit draws 371W for red light, 270 for NIR, and 627W for the entire panel. ✅ 6-inch hotspots is not too good, but at 12-inches it's OK. ✅ $4.17 per LED price and $8.45 per Watt of total power output. The BioMAX has a better value proposition than the PULSED LightpathLED ✅ EMF testing: radiowaves: non-existent. Magnetic: tiny, 0.09 micro Tesla. Electric fields: absent also! ✅ Sound level is 51.8 dB ✅ Touch screen has unique options! ✅ BioMAX 900 has more value! My likes and dislikes?
