The armed man that was arrested Thursday near Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's residence has been confirmed as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. A large contingent of police descended on the sprawling estate of Rideau Hall, where both Trudeau and the Governor General Julie Payette live. Investigators say neither were at home at the time of the incident. Sources tell Global News the suspect was in possession of several fire arms. Ottawa Bureau Chief Mercedes Stephenson has more. An unthinkable Canada Day tragedy has left three young children dead in Quebec. Police say the kids all under the age of seven were among ten people who were ejected from tractor while riding in its front loader. It happened Wednesday night, about 60 km south east of Montreal. Two adults are in critical condition while others sustained minor injuries. The driver of the tractor has been arrested. Dan Spector reports. A health unit in an Ontario community hit hard by COVID-19 has ordered a work stoppage at a farm. The move comes after 191 migrant workers tested positive for the virus over the weekend.
