The day I shadowed Jon Stewart- my photojournalism was never the same after what he taught me.

I had to opportunity to shadow journalist Jon Stewart as he lectured the students and staff at UC Berkeley in California and spoke of his newly released film "Rosewater". He was gracious with his time for me and made the entire experience one of teaching, learning and friendship. It was a short mentorship that taught me different ways to listen to subjects as well as how to react to the lighting in the scene to better tell my story.
