It's easy to be tempted to pick the nicest plants, but by choosing 10 plants consecutively and sampling the same section from each, we get a true snapshot of our crop. Here's our process: 1. Pick a plant. 2. Walk in a direction, picking 10 plants in a row (no skipping!). 3. Take the same piece of flower from each plant. 4. Dry, grind, and combine them all together. This gives us a population average, which is crucial for those of us moving towards more extraction-focused production.
