Rare E flat suite by Bach BWV819 - conclusion (Bourree & Minuet and Trio) on Roland C-30

Here is the conclusion of the rarely heard incomplete suite in E flat by JS Bach BWV819. It is thought by some musicologists to date from around the time of the French Suites. The suite does not contain the concluding gigue that you would expect. Instead the last two are a Bourree and Minuet and Trio, which are presented here today. The Trio is particularly rare for the time, being in E flat minor. Although it is possible it started life in a different key and is transposed here. This brings to an end a series of 10 recordings of obscure miscellaneous Bach suite movements done in May-June 2025 in Liverpool on my Roland C-30 digital harpsichord. They were done in honour of my late mother who passed in May. Next upload is a bonus movement!
