Act 10:1-4;Peter At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, “Cornelius!” Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked. The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. 1. Devotion. This wholehearted commitment. It entails love and loyalty. -Commitment doesn't see obstacles: it only see growth and possibilities. A committed person sees challenges as opportunities and overcome them with grit determination. 2. Fear Of God. Fear of the Lord": refers to a reverential awe and deep respect for God, leading to obedience and a desire to live according to His ways, rather than a dread or terror. Job 1:1; In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. When you have the fear of God you pursue; *Purity *Righteousness. *Holiness ( Shun evil). *Knowing the will of God and doing it. A heart of obedience. 3. Giving Generously. . It is not simply a financial transaction but a spiritual act with deep impartation and transformation in believers prosperity. Deuteronomy 15:10 “Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to”. 2Corinthians 9:6-7;Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Luke 6:38;Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Proverbs 19:17;Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done. 4. Praying Regularly. Pray without ceasing"1Thessalonians 5:16-18. This is maintaining a constant awareness of God and a spirit of prayer throughout the day. Colossians 4:2, which encourages believers to "devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful". -Through prayer, individuals deepen their relationship with the divine, experience peace, and connect with God's presence in their lives. It is a vital spiritual discipline that helps believers grow in faith and navigate life's challenges.
