Jon Sopel is a British television presenter and correspondent for BBC World News, currently serving as principal presenter of Global and also appears on BBC One and the BBC News Channel. He was previously chief political correspondent for BBC News 24 and a presenter on The Politics Show on BBC One and the BBC News Channel. He spoke to us about the morality of reporting as a journalist. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
