The most interesting thing to come out of the Mario Kart trailer last week was the reveal of the Knockout Tour game mode, in my opinion. This is not just an add-on mode, but one that fundamentally changes how the game is played. But with the traditional GP/VS mode returning, one big question is the following: Is it actually going to be better than what we've come accustomed to? I see some reasons as to why it could be. But things are never that simple. I see some concerns, as well. And they go deep into the questions of what makes Mario Kart, feel like Mario Kart.
