We’ve recently found a one-of-a-kind property here in south Portugal that’s ideally suited to serve as a headquarters for Hakim Wellness. It’s a 15k m2 (3.6 acre) off-grid property situated on a hill overlooking a lake, on preserved land where no adjacent construction will ever be permitted, while also being half an hour from the nearest airport and the ocean. The design is entirely self-sufficient with solar power and an abundant supply of water. The foundation has recently been poured. If the property is purchased now, the floor plan can be customized to precisely fit our needs with the buildings framed as soon as this summer. This property would allow us to have a treatment space (for private sessions), a classroom space (for weekly classes, weekend workshops, and long-term trainings), an herbal dispensary (for customized formulations), a recording studio (for the Hakim Wellness training curriculum for professionals and laypeople, including instructional videos and a podcast), an inspiring workspace where I can confidently complete the remaining four volumes of my series on Islamic Medicine, and infrastructure to self-publish, store, and reliably distribute our texts internationally.
