2 years ago Albert found this INCREDIBLE metal detecting find in Perthshire, Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 He was a beginner metal detector and had only been detecting for six months when he shouted to say he’d found ‘something weird’. That weird thing turned out to be a Celtic bronze bowl or bucket mount which is estimated to be around 2,000 years old and is of INTERNATIONAL importance! This is the best example ever found in Scotland, ever found in the UK and one of the best ever found in Europe. Treasure hunting and metal detecting days don’t get any better than this! I know many of you have been asking what’s happened to the bulls head, well it was handed in to Treasure Trove at the National Museum of Scotland a week after it was found over two years ago but so far there’s no news unfortunately, so Albert is still waiting to find out exac what it is, where it came from and what it might be worth.
