BA322i / Loading module with integrated automation

The new BA 322i complete system from SW consists of a 2-spindle, horizontal 5-axis machining center, a loading module with integrated 6-axis robot, and a vertical pallet storage unit for raw and finished parts. The plug-and-play-capable manufacturing cell is designed for highly productive manufacturing of light metal parts, for example housings for electronics. The loading module enables loading and unloading in parallel to machining time. Overhead robot mounting increases freedom of motion for operators and maintenance engineers. The pallet storage, set off to the side and requiring only minimal space, also allows for unloading workpieces from the machine manually. The maximum storage capacity is 24 pallets. The pallet storage, loading module and machines are designed so that they ensure very short commissioning times on site. SW also designs the machine, robot and workpiece storage as a crane hook solution to meet specific customer needs. As of 2019 it will also be possible to use the manufacturing cells as a compact solution with a workpiece magazine and workpiece feed conveyor. Learn more: www.sw-machines.com
