Learn how to make an easy to crochet chunky scarf for beginners in this easy crocheted scarf tutorial! This is a great crochet project for beginners who want to crochet a quick scarf for markets because the stitches are placed in the space between two stitches, rather than in the tops of the stitches as usual. I chose a chunky yarn for this pattern because thicker yarns make it easier to see your stitches clearly, and using a fatter yarn means the scarf will work up faster. You can make this scarf in any width and length you like. Since we aren't relying on stitch count, no need to worry about gauge. I'll also walk you through Crocheting the Herringbone Half Double Crochet Stitch, which is one of the easy crochet stitches to use for scarves, and it works so beautifully here.
