December 13, 2023. An Avianca Ecuador Airbus A320NEO registration N775AV, performing flight GLG7392 from Guayaquil Jose Joaquin de Olmedo International Airport (SEGU) to New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (KJFK) after landing on runway 31 left at New York Kennedy Airport was instructed to vacate the runway but the airplane stopped on the runway without any report. The controller noticed that and instructed the aircraft of short final to go around. After that the controller informed GLG7392 that next time they have to report their intentions to the Tower because there was an aircraft on 1-mile final.
