MDL Powerup 37T Hydraulic Splitter and Oak

Hi all and welcome back to the channel, on this one i am using the ‪@mdlpowerup1‬ Megga split hydraulic log splitter. Its a good machine but i just don't like the speed of this machine over my kinetic splitter. Even with the 6 way wedge, its not that well designed for the UK market for the size of wood it splits. I need to make another one that will do the job better but that will be in time to come. On this one i am splitting Oak and it splits fairly well and it doesn't phase the splitter at all but i am averaging about 45 minutes a cage which isn't great for me. But it works and it gets through some seriously knotty stuff when i have it so its ok for the job.
