TalkBack 16.2 Updates Explained | Text Formatting & Physical Keyboard Browse Mode In this video, I explain and demonstrate the new accessibility features introduced in TalkBack version 16.2 on Android devices. These updates improve how TalkBack announces formatted text and introduce powerful single-letter navigation when using a physical keyboard with your phone. This is a practical, audio-based walkthrough where you will hear real TalkBack announcements, sound cues, and step-by-step demonstrations designed specifically for blind and visually impaired users. What’s new in TalkBack 16.2? 1. Text Formatting Announcements TalkBack 16.2 can now announce text formatting changes such as: • Text colour changes • Bold text • Italic text • Underlined text For example, when text appears in a different colour (such as green text in WhatsApp), TalkBack announces: “Start colour green” and “End colour green”.
