The demonstration was one of many across Israel, as public anger grows over the resumed bombing of Gaza and increasing discontent with Netanyahu’s government. Israel ended its ceasefire with Hamas last month, resuming its military offensive and cutting off supplies to Gaza’s roughly two million residents to pressure Hamas into accepting changes to the truce agreement. 59 hostages remain in Gaza, with 24 still believed to be alive.
