Railway tracks require regular inspection, maintenance and cleaning. A novel autonomous robot performs such tasks safely and even protects the environment. Its robot arms for trash and plant removal need to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. Visevi Robotics developed a simplified, sensorless design without complex electronics to increase robustness.
