Kids youtube is designed to be specific to kids. So I am in no agreement with anyone being coarse into harming themselves or taking their lives. However, here’s the bigger problem, some people, parents and guardians are blaming youtube, the game creators, and their children but themselves. The truth is your kids know a lot more about violence and violent content online than you think. Kids are not going to look at something online and just come to you, for more reasons than one. Let’s not distracted with this. Here is the deal: 1) if you had paid attention what your kids were watching instead of just handing them devices to be distracted from your role as a parent them this won’t have happened, I understand that I pops up for a bit then disappears, but you may have missed some but not all. Use Youtube time to socialize and interact with your kids and show them you care because you are there. 2) stop making excuses for your actions and take accountability. If you are not part of the solution, then you’re part of the problem. If you are one of those parents who think your kids are hiding things from you, then you need to scold yourself first. Go to your kids and show them what’s right and wrong.
