VertiFlex - Automated Archive Installation for Brno City Municipality

This video captures the installation of an automated archive storage system for Brno City Municipality, specifically for the Department of Building Regulations. The aim of the project was to create a centralized archival workspace for storing physical documentation, enabling more efficient document handling, faster retrieval, and full visibility of document movement within the organization. The implementation included the installation of 10 vertical automated storage units Compact Double with tray load capacity of up to 500 kg. The system allows full utilization of the available storage height of up to 12 meters. Thanks to the optimized distribution of trays for binders and archival boxes, the final solution provides a total storage capacity of over 10,000 meters of documentation. The entire system is controlled by the Vertinode warehouse management software, which ensures accurate record-keeping of stored documents and manages the processes of storing, retrieving, and returning materials. Each file is identified by a unique reference number, allowing its current location and movement outside the archive to be tracked. Implementation of the automated solution has resulted in: centralized physical archive, increased storage capacity while reducing space requirements, faster document retrieval, full tracking of document movement, reduced handling errors, improved security of stored documentation.
