SpongeBob 2 Absolute (Sonic 2 Absolute Mod) by DZTVE - Full Longplay as Sandy Cheeks

Sandy Cheeks is here in Sonic 2 Absolute, with the mod now being supported with KarlEmerald's Origins Amy mod! Though, despite the Origins name, Amy plays more like her Sonic Forever counterpart, with the option to change it to the Advance-esque moveset too of course, though I really love Amy's moveset in Sonic Forever so I just stuck with the default moveset here. This is actually my first time playing the Amy mod, via being supported with the SpongeBob 2 Absolute mod, and she actually controls a little better than her Sonic Forever counterpart! She can glide for presumably an infinite amount of time, unlike in Sonic Forever where it was only for a few seconds. And when letting go of the glide button, she goes back to a spin jump! So yeah, some improvements in gameplay, but otherwise it's pretty much the same as she was in Sonic Forever. So, Sandy's sprites are shrunken down to fit Amy's size of course, but I think her animations here were better than in SpongeBob Forever for most sprites. And heck, the Special Stage sprites are pretty good too! They may be jank for some, sure, but I really appreciate DZTVE putting the effort to make Sandy's Special Stage sprites! If only I can say the same for Squidward though, because he's still stuck using the same janky sprites that were used in SpongeBob 3 A.I.R (the DZTVE version, not the more popular JCC3 version). I also noticed that Amy's jump is slightly lower than Sonic and Tails' jumps, which made the Death Egg Robot boss of course, pretty hard, but it didn't make me frustrated as much as when playing with Knuckles against the boss. Considering the possibilities with the Amy Rose S2A mod, it makes me wonder if Dorami would be added to Doraemon 2 Absolute if that gets another update in the future, and who knows?
