This month’s webinar is moderated by Dr. Yariv Doron and features a line-up of mental health experts who will review mental health and telehealth projects, share success stories and discuss existing barriers. The panelists will present some of their projects and reveal insights on a telehealth approach for assessing and addressing those with mental health issues, and how this can build capacity to support the youth and the elderly, and beyond. The experts will share how they have promoted advocacy and how health professionals can move into active roles that will have lasting impacts on society. We encourage you to tune into this 75-minute webinar as it speaks to the opportunities and challenges of telehealth, and how each one addresses mental health. The webinar will explore four key themes: • Primary mental health services running within the space of telemedicine, including a multitude of services run by Whakarongorau Aotearoa • Case studies of co-design endeavors, inequity, and cultural insights • Specific lens on younger and elderly clients • Reflection on future directions in New Zealand and their potential utilization of telehealth PANELLISTS: Dr. Siale Foliaki Clinical Lead - Crisis Services, Whakarongorau Aotearoa Dr. David Codyre Clinical Lead – Mental Health and Addictions, Whakarongorau Aotearoa Dr. Lyndy Matthews Lead Psychiatrist, Whakarongorau Aotearoa Dr. Janine Bycroft Executive Director at Health Navigator Charitable Trust
