This week’s fly has proven its effectiveness on the Madeleine River. Created 10 years ago by Olivier Fournier a good friend and fishing partner, the Oli is a hybrid between the Blue Charm and the Black Bear Green Butt, with some additional elements of color. During the first season of King of the River, Olivier showed us all the efficiency of this fly. I never embark on a fishing expedition on the Madeleine without asking him to provide me with some.
