Static brings together brilliant storytelling with verbatim news reports to tell a coming of age story that spans a decade. From watching the World Trade Centre fall live on television to the top of Tory HQ in 2010's summer of discontent; through talking to girls at drunken teenage parties and coming home with bloody noses. This is the story of how a generation grew up with the world at their fingertips, how they learnt to switch off their screens, and got up on their feet. New Model Theatre create fast paced, exciting theatre for a modern audience. Static is NMT's second show and will be touring to Fringe Festivals in Exeter, Manchester, Camden and Edinburgh. It has been developed with the support of the Barbican Theatre, Plymouth.
