Today I am going to show you how to knit the Flower stitch hat :) I've got a request to make this video from someone. To be honest with you, I don't really know the real name of this stitch. Very similar to the flower and / or dandelion stitch, looks more like a pine tree to me :) If anyone knows about this stitch, let me know! Here is the written pattern **For Flat Sample* Multiple of 3 + 4, I made 19 Note: You need 3 stitches for flower part, the rest, you can customize it My plan was, Purl 3 at the very beginning and ending = 6 sts 3 flower line = 3 X 3 = 9 sts Purl 2 in between flowers: 2 x 2 = 4 6 + 9 + 4 = 19 SET UP R1 (WS): K3, P3, K2, P3, K2, P3, K3 SET UP R2 (RS) & R3 (WS) : K OVER K STS, P OVER P STS R1 (RS): P OVER P STS, FOR FLOWER = LOOP, K3, LOOP R2 (WS): K OVER K STS, P OVER P STS EXCEPT LOOP, LOOP = SLIDE PURLWISE R3 (RS): P OVER P STS, LOOP = BACK LOOP K2TOG, K1, K2TOG R4 (WS): K OVER K STS, P OVER P STS REP R1 ~ R4 UNTIL YOUR DESIRE LENGTH, THEN CAST OFF **FAT** CAST ON: MULTIPLE OF 5 RIB: (K3, P2) UNTIL YOUR DESIRE LENGTH R1: P OVER P STS, FOR FLOWER = LOOP, K3, LOOP R2: K OVER K STS, P OVER P STS EXCEPT LOOP, LOOP = SLIDE PURLWISE R3 (RS): P OVER P STS, LOOP = SL1 & FLIP BACK ONTO LN, THEN BACK LOOP K2TOG, K1, K2TOG R4 (WS): K OVER K STS, P OVER P STS REP R1 ~ R4 UNTIL YOUR DESIRE LENGTH & FINISH ON R3 DR1: (K3, P2TOG) DR2: (SL3 & FLIP BACK ONTO LN, THEN BACK LOOP K3TOG, P1) CLOSE THE TOP OF HAT WITH TAPESTRY NEEDLE Some part, it was very tough to write it, so please watch my video to make sure about how to make LOOP and how to decrease LOOP If you have any question, please leave your comment :) Enjoy knitting!
