[A new trailer for Ciplak! It's pretty much the same as the first trailer but with a good 35 seconds added explaining what the movie's about a bit more.] In a country such as Malaysia piracy isn't just common: it's indispensable. Everything from clothes and shoes to CD's and video games are available in bootleg form. Piracy has allowed the underprivileged to afford over-priced sneakers, exposed the ignorant to the wonders of non-top 40 music and increased the cinema vocabulary of an entire nation through pirated DVD's. Yes. Piracy is a crime. But not in Malaysia lah. Bwahahaha! *The filmmakers of 'Ciplak' would like to note that DVD piracy (or any form of piracy, for that matter) is a crime and affects the entertainment industry and do not condone the act of piracy in any way.
