Lent begins in ashes: reminders of loss, limitation, repentance, our human fragility, and the realities we cannot fix on our own. Yet Lent never ends there. It moves—steadily and faithfully—toward resurrection, renewal, and praise. This series holds both together, trusting that God’s promises are not abstract or distant, but spoken into real lives, real neighborhoods, and real moments of need. Throughout this Lenten journey, we will share stories from our Ministry Partners—stories rooted in daily acts of compassion, presence, and courage—paired with original songs that help us listen more deeply to what God is doing among us. These stories and songs remind us that hope is not wishful thinking; it is something we participate in. From ashes to alleluias, we will see how God continues to plant hope where others see only exhaustion or decline, and how—through simple faithfulness—God invites us to join in shaping a future filled with grace, dignity, and hope."
