Turning Setbacks Into Progress! Allotment Bed Filling & Greenhouse Staging| ALLOTMENT GARDEN UK

🌱 This Week on Matt’s Allotment 🌱 It hasn’t all gone to plan this week… unfortunately our soil delivery was cancelled 😩 but regardless, we crack on! I’ve moved some pallet collars and soil from home over to the plot to go between the two large rows of beds, getting things organised and ready for the season ahead. We also discovered some beautifully well-rotted leaves and woodchip at the top of the allotment — perfect for starting to fill up the beds before topping them off with our homemade compost and a fresh layer of shop-bought peat-free compost. Next up, we build some staging for the freshly cleaned greenhouse so I can finally move over my onion, leek and sweet pea seedlings from home.
