The Becker Necker is one of those rare things for knife collectors: a great blade at a cheap price. Although marketed as a neck knife, the BK11 actually feels more suited as a small belt knife for general use. In fact when comparing the knife to more popular competitors like the Rat Cutlery RC-3, the BK11 is able to hold its own while still maintaining a reasonable price point. With a few small changes to the knife and its included accessories, I feel the Becker Necker would become a hit for affordable outdoor use knives. The Becker Necker features: Full flat ground drop point blade design 1095 Cro-Van Steel with Epoxy Coating Overall length 6.75 inches (17.15 cm) Blade length 3.25 inches (8.26 cm) Weight: 2.4 ounces (68.04g) HRC: 56-58 SHARP out of the Box integrated bottle opener and wire breaker on butt of handle Included: Glass-filled Nylon Sheath with lash point for paracord and is compatible with the Kabar TDI Belt Clip (sold separately approx $10-15) Included: 7 feet (2.13 meters) of black 550 paracord Retail: $54.69, available at Amazon.com for $35 with free shipping Things I would change: Should offer the package with the TDI belt clip included to save overall cost Should offer (cheap) handle scales for the knife for better grip Eliminate the middle hump on the handle to make the knife more ergonomic Loosen the retention on the sheath just a little bit
