On certain rounds in a Magic Chess Go Game, players are given two cards bearing unique bonuses to pick from. These cards, called Go Go cards, are divided by rarity into blue, purple and orange cards, similar to how 3-Gold, 4-Gold and 5-Gold Heroes can also be referred to as blue, purple and orange heroes respectively. A total of three cards can be obtained in a game, on Stage 1 round 2, Stage 2 round 3 and Stage 3 round 3. The rarity from which the cards are selected is determined at random, but every player picks cards from the same rarity. In some games, the first card may be an orange card, followed by a blue and purple card, and in some other games, the first two cards may be purple and the last will be blue. If you do not like the cards displayed, you can swap out one of the cards for a new card from the same rarity. You can do this twice in each card selection. There are 139 cards, 25 blue cards, 67 purple cards and 47 orange cards in Season 1 of MCGG, and in this video, I will try to divide these cards into different categories, to make it easier to analyse their abilities, and gain a better understanding of the strategies involved in selecting cards. After studying the cards, I have come up with nine categories with which to classify the cards. These categories are Commander cards, Blessing cards, Hero cards, EXP cards, Shop cards, Gold cards, Equipment cards, Magic crystal cards, and Battle cards. I will explain each category, the cards that make up each category, and where possible rank the cards based on my experience so far, and some theoretical guesses.
