This week I take the long trek into an abandoned Death Valley mining town that was discovered by bandits hiding out - Panamint City. It would grow to become known as 'the next Cerro Gordo' as it became a boomtown. Some of the same characters that helped build Cerro Gordo made their way over to Panamint City.
