Every time I have needed to iron something I just end up getting frustrated because I am not very good at it. I had seen garment steamers like this one before and wondered if they are easier to use and get good results with. I have been using this garment steamer for several weeks now and these are my thoughts on it. The unit itself has a base with attachment compartments on both sides. It comes with a lint pad for removing lint, hair and animal fur for the most professional finish possible. It comes with a crease attachment so you can properly crease the sides of your slacks. It also comes with two different size brushes, one is for fabric and the other is for upholstery. It has a huge 1 gallon water tank that is clear so you can easily tell if you are getting low on water. You don't have to fill the tank very often at all because it will operate for hours on a single tank. The power cord retracts directly into the base and there is a button right on the front of the base to make it retract. There is a power button right on the front and it heats up very quickly. Within a minute you have partial steam. Within 2 minutes it is cranking out the steam. There is also a button that controls how much steam and there is a low, medium and high setting. There is a nice hanging rack that is attached to the base for hanging pants, tops, dresses or jackets while you steam them. It is fully adjustable and can raise up very high so you can easily steam a long dress. The handle can also be fully collapsed for storage. The base has wheels and so you can easily move it around. It's not hard to use at all though. You could pick it up and use it for the very first time and get very decent results with it. It has 1550 watts of power and can put out plenty of steam. Occasionally the steam will stop for a few seconds but that's about it. For the most part it will put out a steady flow of steam for the entire time that you are using it. I have looked much more professional at work since I started using this steamer and my experience has been nothing but good with it. Overall I think this steamer is very good and is more like professional quality.
