Welcome to the pilot episode of a new series of resident-led pathology live unknown slide sessions! Our aim is to get together, have fun, and learn pathology in a benign, welcoming, and supportive environment. The plan is to make this a recurrent event. For now, we have a Twitter group where the theme for each session is decided by the vote of the majority. In this first session, as decided by the vox populi, we focus on (some) eosinophilic kidney tumors. This is mainly intended for med students, aspiring pathologists, and pathology trainees, but anyone interested is more than welcome to join and share their knowledge with us! To join the group, please DM me on Twitter @ MirunaPopescu13. We would be glad to have you! Many thanks to Dr. Katrina Collins, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine for providing most the images shown in this video. If you haven't checked out Dr. Collins' Twitter/X account (@katcollmd) yet, do it now! She has some of the most beautiful, high quality micro and macro pathology photos out there! Most of the remainder of the images are from PathPresenter. If you haven't checked out PathPresenter yet, do it now! They have a huge number of freely available, high quality WSI digital slides for you to test your diagnostic skills on! P.S. I am not sponsored by PathPresenter in any way, it is just an honest recommendation. Link to WSI digital slides/images used in this video: https://pathpresenter.net/display/518...
