Torch Flame is applied so the natural heat deepens and burn into the grain lines of the body wood. It is a meticulous and lengthy process requiring much expertise and judgement. Fire impacts grain and wood grain differently for every piece of wood, so each instrument is 100% completely unique. The headstock of the neck is then fire-branded with the Solar logo with edges burned to match the body. Afterwards the body and headstock are sanded clean then tinted fire red before poly sealer coats are applied. Once dry, assembly begins with the neck fitted with Solar locking tuners, Floyd Rose installation, pickups, copper shielding, electronics wiring, strings strung up and final set-up by our experienced luthiers to be ready for any level of professional stage or studio. MCAS Custom fitted ABS molded flight ready case is included along with a Certificate of Authenticity hand signed by the Artisan Master that finished that finished your guitar.
