“My students absolutely love doing labs and lessons provided by Kansas Corn!” Carmelita Goossen of Southwestern Heights High School uses a variety of the hands-on, ethanol-focused lessons and labs provided by the Kansas Corn STEM program in her classroom. The program helps her students learn about careers in the agricultural industry. Goossen's FFA chapter also sponsors a trip for third graders to visit the local ethanol plant each year with a grant from Kansas Corn. Who benefits from biofuels?
