Click to see more Homemade 홀로 서기 박기범 친구야 ​나이란 고집 센 소 한 마리 같아 잡아끌수록 버티는 법이라네 ​미운 말과 억울한 울음은 흙에 묻어두고 바람처럼 허리 굽혀 산을 넘어가자 한 걸음 물러나야 비로소 풀잎도 보이지 않겠나 ​돈은 겨울 장작 같아서 다 버리진 말게 손주 손에 동전 하나 쥐여주고 지친 등 토닥여줄 온기만큼은 남겨두게 ​우리의 찬란했던 날은 강 건너 밭이 되고 이제는 지는 해와 뜨는 해가 인사하는 시간이야 그대는 서쪽에서 나는 동쪽에서 ​부디 아프지 말게 몸이 기울면 그림자도 등을 돌리는 법이니 마을의 저녁 종소리처럼 조용히 오래도록 울다 가길 바라네 ​Standing Alone ​By Park Ki-bum ​My friend, Age is like a stubborn ox; The harder you pull, the more it digs in its heels. Let us bury bitter words and sorrowful cries in the earth, And cross the mountains, bowing low like the wind. ​Only when we step back can we see the blades of grass. Do not cast away all your money, for it is like winter firewood; Keep just enough to press a coin into a grandchild’s palm And to hold the warmth that pats a weary back. ​Our radiant days have become fields across the river, And now is the time when the setting sun and rising sun greet each other— You from the west, and I from the east. ​I pray you do not fall ill; When the body tilts, even one’s own shadow turns away. Like the evening bell of a village, May you echo quietly and long, before you fade away. ​
