Growing up around grandparents and great-grandparents, I was fortunate to have early exposure to desserts and food making in different and varieties of food from different regions. This Glutinous, Coconut Flakes and Sesame Seed is not only simple, it's so delicious with sweet aromatic which infuse in palm sugar, coconut creme and Jamin extract. While preparing this dessert, I couldn't help but recollected memories of my passed ancestors. I am leaving my family legacy by sharing the recipes with you down below. Please enjoy. INGREDIENTS: 1-1/2- cup of glutinous rice-wash well and presoaked for 2 hrs or more 1/2-cup of black beans or any bean of choice-wash and presoaked for 2 hours or longer 1-cup if fresh or frozen shredded coconut-roasted in coconut milk 1/2-cup of palm sugar or pure can sugar will do also 2-tbsp. black sesame seeds 2-tbsp. white sesame seeds 1-can of 13.5 fl. oz of coconut milk 1-tsp. jasmine extract pinch of salt In the steamer, steam the glutinous rice until well cook-sticky and soft. in a pot boil the black beans until well done, drain and wash off color liquid and drain really well Please see the whole video for how to combine the recipes all together.
