Amongst other events, 2020 was music legend Charlie Parker’s 100th year. Due to unprecedented global circumstances, the London Supersax Project’s homage to this giant of jazz was curtailed, until tomorrow! Ronnie Scott’s is proud to be able to safely host LSP celebration of Parker’s legacy with a painstaking recital of his master works. With arrangements by the likes of Warne Marsh and Med Flory, Parker’s epic improvisations are fleshed out in graphic five part harmony. Watch on YouTube and Facebook from 8pm.
